Message from the President
Dear Pojoba,
I hope this message finds you well! It’s been far too long since our school days, and here is an opportunity to reunite with you or your year group again. Life has taken us on different paths, but the memories we created remain etched in our hearts. From classroom pranks to late-night study sessions, we’ve shared countless moments that shaped who we are today.
We live in unprecedented and unpredictable times and must do everything we can to support one another. As the president of Pojoba UK & Ireland, a charity dedicated to the well-being and welfare of all Daasebr3 in the UK and Ireland, my primary and heartfelt goal is to reunite every Daasebr3 living here.
Together with my team (colleague executives), we will organise and promote events that seek to achieve the objectives of our charity, albeit promoting links and contacts for our social, health, and career-oriented gains. We have lined up Summer BBQ, Fall Walk for Life, Winter Recognition Night, and Spring Workshop/Seminar programmes for you.
We cannot do this without your support, participation, and kind donations. We will contact you when the time comes to ask for your support of our causes. Our lingua franca is “What can you do for a Pojoba?” and not “What can a Pojoba do for me?” Thank you in advance.
Remember, the light of old friends never fades. Truth. Kabiwi was a myth and never existed. Truth. ‘Something’ proved scientifically that he is more popular than ‘Labrador’ by receiving deafening cheers from students when he challenged his other popular colleague for a lap each round the school corridors during preps. Truth.
Sending you warm hugs and wishing us many more happy memories to come.
Michael Tontoh
President
